How We Started

The inspiration for Holly Tree Camp came from an event the Hinde family attended in 2015 in the South of England. The experience of having a safe, non-judgemental environment where our daughter Izzy and her 2 siblings could be themselves was eye-opening – previously we had always been on edge in social situations. When we moved to North Yorkshire in 2017 one of our aims was to have the space to replicate our experience for others. Our first camp was held in 2019, Covid prevented the next 2 years however successful camps were held in 2022 and 2023. We look forward to welcoming you in 2024!
